LHSOA Fundraising Successes!

Thanks to the efforts of parent volunteers and student officers, along with all of you who participated, we had a successful month in the fundraising department.

Our Chick-fil-A Spirit Nights coordinated by Amy Warner, proved to be fun for those who attended, and we even enjoyed a great concert by several musicians in our LHS community.  Our poinsettia fundraiser, coordinated by Leah Lackey exceeded expectations by outperforming what we did last year – WOW!  All of these funds will go directly towards enriching the awesome orchestra programming for each and every one of our students.

A Night of the Classics – Monday, Dec 14th, 7pm

This popular holiday concert will once again bring the joy and spirit of the classics to our orchestra community.  Ms. Doemel and Mr. Mori are putting together what looks to be a wonderful collection of music performed by all five of our orchestras!  And, what would the holidays be without treats! The LHSOA will host a bake sale with yummy confections provided by bakers in our community that will be sold before and after the concert to benefit our orchestra’s programming.  If you like to bake – we want you! Please view the Bake Sale Details from the BLOG post for more information and contact Kim Jones to express your interest in baking a plate of treats for the concert.

Your LHSOA embraces Technology

Beginning this month, we will be able to use the power of the Internet to pay for everything from baked goods, orchestra registration fees, t-shirts,etc. We even have a PayPal account for easy on-line payments. Look for more information in the coming weeks from your LHSOA treasurers on the process.

Show your Orchestra Spirit!

Would you like to recognize your Lassiter musician and show pride in your orchestra in a colorful way? For just $25 the LHSOA will come to your home and stencil our LHSO logo on your driveway.  If you would like to have your driveway stenciled, please download the LHSO Driveway Stenciling Permission Form, fill it out, and deposit it, along with a check to the LHSOA lock-box in the orchestra room. Please e-mail Sharon Powers with any questions you have on this project.
