A Night of the Classics – Monday, Dec 14th, 7pm

This popular holiday concert will once again bring the joy and spirit of the classics to our orchestra community.  Ms. Doemel and Mr. Mori are putting together what looks to be a wonderful collection of music performed by all five of our orchestras!  Don’t forget about the bake sale before and after the concert (the newsletter guy will be seeking anything chocolate!).  No cash – no problem, we now take plastic! :-)

And, we have something extra special – just for you!  Ms. Helen Kim, Assistant Concertmaster of the Atlanta Opera Orchestra and Associate Professor of Violin at Kennesaw State University will perform Bach’s Violin Concerto in A Minor on our Night of Classics Concert. Of course, as always, the musicians of the Lassiter High School Orchestras will not disappoint. Do not miss this performance!

Your LHSOA embraces Technology

Beginning this month, we will be able to use the power of the Internet to pay for everything from baked goods, orchestra registration fees, t-shirts,etc. We even have a PayPal account for easy on-line payments. Look for more information in the coming weeks from your LHSOA treasurers on the process.

Show your Orchestra Spirit!

Would you like to recognize your Lassiter musician and show pride in your orchestra in a colorful way? For just $25 the LHSOA will come to your home and stencil our LHSO logo on your driveway.  If you would like to have your driveway stenciled, please download the LHSO Driveway Stenciling Permission Form, fill it out, and deposit it, along with a check to the LHSOA lock-box in the orchestra room. Please e-mail Sharon Powers with any questions you have on this project.
