Meeting Summary
This page will allow parents to review all of the material covered at the LHSOA parent meeting on August 8, 2024.
During the meeting, we discussed several key topics for the upcoming school year including the LHSOA budget, upcoming events schedule, fundraising initiatives, and volunteer opportunities. The yearly budget was passed with a unanimous vote. The LHSOA’s goal is to enhance our music program, by supporting Dr. Laux and the needs of the students.

The orchestra has two uniform options, a black gown or black slacks, a black button down shirt, and tie.
Budget
This year the LHSOA budget is just over $36, 000. The 2024-2025 budget passed on 8/8/2024 with a unanimous vote.

This handbook has been compiled for the parents and students of the orchestra program at Lassiter High School. It is designed to acquaint the orchestra members and parents with the requirements, expectations, and procedures in orchestra class. Students and parents should read the hand book, then complete the handbook acceptance form.
