LGPE Success!
Last week Lassiter hosted all of our district high schools, and two middle schools, for LGPE. This was a rather large and complicated endeavor with multiple moving pieces over the course of three very full days. Buses were constantly arriving and departing our campus, and dozens of musicians at a time were moving between the theater, the concert hall, and the orchestra room. We had a great group of volunteer parents who stepped-up and demonstrated genuine Trojan hospitality. We cannot thank you all enough for giving your time and talents to LGPE.
More importantly, all of our orchestras received superior ratings for their performances, which is a true testament to the quality orchestra program we have here at Lassiter High School. Thank you Ms. Doemel and Mr. Mori for everything you do for our program and our kids!

Mandatory Meeting
Rehearsal and Trip Briefing
All NY Trip Students
Please adjust your schedules and make plans to attend this mandatory New York trip rehearsal and meeting on Monday March 7, 4:00 – 6:15.
We will rehearse our program, and then following rehearsal we will go over the “rules of the road” – attendance will be taken so, BE THERE!
Please download, print, and use the NY Trip Packing Checklist to ensure you’ve got your packing bases covered.

Monday evening at 6:30 immediately following the student meeting to discuss logistics, itinerary, and expectations.
We Need Forms!
Many of you who are traveling have not yet completed and turned-in the required forms for the trip. This is extremely important, so get ‘er done! You may email any missing forms to Sharon Saxton, who is working really hard to ensure all NY trip students have the forms in place.
