Assignment: Spring Concert Practice Vlog
|

Students have an important assignment due this Sunday in the form of a practice Vlog from their spring concert music. Student should be practicing rigorously to master everything in their folder!!
The practice vlog requires students to identify a section of their music that they are not comfortable with, set an attainable goal, and provide a five minute practice sample video to achieve that goal. The assignment is on Teams
and is due by 11:59 on Sunday.

Trip to Dollywood a Success!

With spring break and all the preparations for the Spring Concert, I completely forgot to mention in our last newsletter how amazing our trip to Dollywood was! The students had a great time on the trip and at the park. I’m
proud of them for their exceptional behavior!
Special thanks to Ms. Stoll, trip coordinator, for setting up the bus, tickets, and hotel. Also thanks to our amazing chaperones on the trip, Mr. Thompson, Ms. Gruber, and Ms. Edwards – we are thankful for your time and
energy in helping make the trip a success!

Our Spring Concert – “A Night at the Movies & More!” is this Tuesday, April 22 starting at 7:00 PM. Students should report around 6:30 PM. Please spread the word and invite everyone you know.
It will be a very fun concert with lots of great movie music!

Come celebrate the exceptional talents and achievements of the Lassiter Orchestra at our Annual Awards Banquet, taking place on Saturday, May 3, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. This evening will
highlight the dedication and passion of our students, parents, and supporters who have contributed to another remarkable year of musical excellence.
Join us for an elegant evening filled with delectable cuisine, heartfelt speeches, and the joyous camaraderie of our orchestra students. We will honor the outstanding accomplishments of our musicians, recognizing our senior class,
and enjoy a great meal together!
Lassiter Orchestra students with paid student fees get a FREE ticket to the banquet. A ticket is required, and you will see that there is no cost.
Parents and other family members must purchase tickets for $25 each.

Due to schedule issues, we will not be able to have our annual senior breakfast this year. Instead we will do a Senior Sendoff Social at Marlow's on Monday, May 19 immediately following graduation rehearsal. This
should start at around 4:00 and will go until 6 PM. SENIORS – please mark your calendars and join your friends at Marlow's for appetizers and soft drinks to celebrate your accomplishments!!
