LHS Orchestra performs at the Pink Out Football Game
On Friday, October 4 the LHS Chamber Orchestra and select 8th grade students performed the Star Spangled Banner at the LHS Pink Out Football game.  The performance was a huge success and I received great feedback from parents, faculty, and administration.  It’s great to get that widespread exposure for our orchestra!  Way to go!

Artist-in-Residence
I am proud to announce our Artist-in-Residence for October 21-22.  Mr. Christopher Thibdeau, a resident of Boston, will be joining us as our guest conductor.  You can read more about Mr. Thibdeau here. https://www.lassiterorchestra.org/thibdeauI know this will be an exciting opportunity for our students!

No Phone Zone Reminder
A reminder to students that the orchestra room is a "no phone zone". Students should not have their phones out during rehearsal, but may keep them in the back of the room in their backpack or on the phone charger if they wish.  Over the past few weeks many students have forgotten about this important rule that allows us to better focus on the music.
