June 6-10, 2016

Open to rising 9th through 12th graders, the Summer Intensive provides students with a taste of what it is like to be a music major.  During the five day non-residential camp, students experience like-instrument technique/masterclasses, large ensembles, chamber groups, and more. Each day also features a faculty recital as well as special seminars covering topics such as conducting, music theory, aural skills, practice techniques, and lunch in our award-winning dining facility, The Commons.

Participants who attend the Summer Intensive will be considered for scholarships to attend Kennesaw State University and major in the School of Music.
