Student Leadership Team
The LHSO Student Leadership team is a group of students who assist with the daily operations and special events of the orchestra. Leaders are expected to be role models within the orchestra program and help organize operations and events. Students are expected to attend meetings (usually once per month or before special events).
About the positions...
Leadership team will be a little different for 25-26. Students on leadership will be expected to help with all activities and duties will be assigned and managed by the president(s) based upon the member’s availability and interest.
The president(s) will serve as managers and help coordinate the rest of the leadership team. They will lead the organization of all leadership meetings and service activities.
- Secretary duties – taking notes at meetings, etc.
- Logistics/Operations – helping with concert set up, management, tear down, setting up orchestra room, etc.
- Social Media – creating content and posting to IG, TikTok, etc.
- Student Services – helping with volunteer opportunities, socials, etc.
- Inventory – helping manage the fleet of school instruments and other equipment
- Music Librarian – helping sort, organize, file, copy, and distribute sheet music
