Dear Lassiter Orchestra Family –

We would like to congratulate the the students of the Lassiter Orchestra Program on a very successful LGPE Prep Camp this weekend! The students worked hard over Friday night and all day Saturday with guest clinicians and section coaches to refine their craft of music making. The LGPE Prep Camp is designed to give students the honor orchestra experience by bringing in successful guest clinicians to work with all of our students. As a result, students are able to create and make music with their peers in a highly intensive and focused setting over the course of the weekend. All orchestras made significant progress and will continue to refine and polish their music as we get ready for the annual Large Group Performance Evaluations.

A BIG THANK YOU is in order for all of our wonderful parent volunteers for making the LGPE Prep Camp a success! Thank you to Ida Anderson for organizing this wonderful team of volunteers! It is because of the help from our parent volunteers that we are able to make camp a lasting success! Thank You!

To all students: Morning sectionals for this coming week of February 8 are cancelled.
