Fall Camp 2024

This year’s fall camp will be Saturday, August 10 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.  This is a required event for all orchestra students.  Should you have a conflict with the day or a portion of it, please email Dr. Laux.

This year our theme is The Olympics!! The day will be filled with sectionals, team building, rehearsals, and fun! After the learning is complete, we will have some fun and social activities including dinner (pizza and drinks provided!) from 4:00-5:30 PM.  You won’t want to miss it!!

All students must to RSVP (yes or no) for the Olympics/Pizza/Ice Cream by 8/8/24.

 

Students should arrive before 9:00 and report to the Concert Hall to check in (by class) and get seated for a 9:00 AM start.  The student leadership team will have announcements and some entertainment.

Reminders:

  • Check in is 8:40-8:55 AM in the Concert Hall Lobby.
  • Bring a sack lunch (11:45-12:30)
  • Bring your instrument, bow, accessories, and sheet music folder
  • Cello players should bring their HOME cellos.
  • Bass players, if possible, should bring their home bass.
  • Parent pick up is 4:00 PM unless your student is attending the additional activities and party (ends at 5:30).
  • Games/Food/Social time will go from 4:00-5:30 PM
