![]() Spring Concert – “A Night at the Movies & More!” Our Spring Concert is right around the corner — next Tuesday, April 22 starting at 7:00 PM. We will be making final preparations this week, so students will need to hit the ground running! Remember, our concerts are open to the public and are free admission. This concert is one you won’t want to miss! We will be performing music from Moana, The Hunger Games, James Bond, Spiderman, Brave, Beauty and the Beast, CoCo, How to Train Your Dragon, Fiddler on the Roof, The Greatest Showman, Harry Potter, Wicked, and more. We will also be debuting the Lassiter Symphony Orchestra! Please invite family and friends for a wonderful evening of music. Annual Awards Banquet – Tickets Now Available! Come celebrate the exceptional talents and achievements of the Lassiter Orchestra at our Annual Awards Banquet, taking place on Saturday, May 3, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. This evening will highlight the dedication and passion of our students, parents, and supporters who have contributed to another remarkable year of musical excellence. Join us for an elegant evening filled with delectable cuisine, heartfelt speeches, and the joyous camaraderie of our orchestra students. We will honor the outstanding accomplishments of our musicians, recognizing our senior class, and enjoy a great meal together! Lassiter Orchestra students with paid student fees get a FREE ticket to the banquet. A ticket is required, and you will see that there is no cost. Audition Results I worked over spring break to listen to all of the submitted placement auditions and will have 2025-2026 Orchestra placements out before the end of the week. Stay tuned! This works very well within the confines of the May schedule with all of the students in and out for testing, etc. For their semester exam, students will perform their small ensemble music for the class.
