Wrapping up 2023-2024
It's hard to believe that we are just about done with this school year. I'm very proud of the work our orchestras did this year and am grateful to have completed another successful year as director. Lassiter is THE
place to be and I'm honored to be here!
|
Please see our final newsletter of the 23-24 school year below. It is my hope that you will all have a WONDERFUL and SAFE summer. You all deserve time to relax and recharge! Should you need anything this summer, please
don't hesitate to contact me. I will be checking my email periodically when I'm not boating on the lake. :-)
Best,
Dr. Laux

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
Thank you to everyone who attended our annual awards banquet! It was such a special evening and I was overjoyed to be able to celebrate our year of successes and honor our senior class. The food was amazing and so was the
atmosphere! Special thanks to Mel Smith, Mary George, and Todd Thompson for putting it all together. I'd also like to thank the parents and students who volunteered to help set up and tear down, with
well over 200 attendees it was a lot of work! We are so lucky to have all of you to help make the awards banquet a very special occasion!

End-of-year gift
I want to send out a special thank you to everyone who contributed to my end of year teacher gift. You are all so thoughtful and generous!! And Amazon is my favorite! Thank you!!!
I’m honored and grateful to have the opportunity to teach your children everyday. They are just awesome!!! It is my hope that I will be able to make some type of impact on their lives through the study
of music. I simply love it here at Lassiter and am already excited about next year. What we do would not be possible without your support and kindness. You are greatly appreciated!!
