Newsletter Guy paid $37 for a policy for his cellist that incorporates trip interruption and cancellation – check it out. It’s Easy Money!Last quarter (Oct – Dec) LHS Orchestra Families spent just over $27,000 at Publix using their Spirit Card, and we earned $180. Folks, it does not get any easier to donate to the orchestra – please pick-up a spirit card for your key ring and scan it whenever you shop. You can also use your Kroger Plus Card, but you need to go online to register the LHSOA as a benefactor. We know there are many more of you who can start doing this simple and effortless way of donating to the orchestra – for free. Your Orchestra Needs You!This spring we will be installing a new slate of adult officers and an Executive Board of Directors for the LHSOA. Ms. Doemel and Mr. Mori cannot do the amazing things they do for our kids without committed parent volunteers to run the booster organization. Please consider becoming more involved by taking a lead role; and we realize everyone has busy lives, so if you can’t take a position, please express interest in serving on a committee or just showing up to help-out at concerts and other events. Please check-out our Volunteers Page on the website to explore ways you can help, or review the LHSOA By-Laws for a description of leadership positions. You are welcome to email Ida Anderson to express a specific interest or volunteer for an event. |
