LHSOA General Meeting for Parents
Tuesday, August 18th – Lassiter Concert Hall at 7:00 PM.
All parents should plan to attend. Come learn everything you need to know about the upcoming year.
LHSOA Needs YOU!
Every orchestra student must be registered with the LHSOA!
Our goal is 100% participation by all Lassiter Orchestra families! Your involvement is critical, so register now to ensure your child’s musical education is greatly enhanced. Your participation will directly impact and enrich the musical growth and development of all orchestra students.
Orchestra association registration will occur before the General Parent Meeting on August 18th from 5:30-6:45 PM in the lobby of the Lassiter Concert Hall.
To expedite your registration process, please follow this link, LHSOA Forms, to download, print, and complete the required paperwork, which can be done in advance. Bring your completed forms to the meeting, along with a check, and a photocopy of the front and back copy of your health insurance card.
LHSOA Board Members will be on-hand in the concert hall lobby both before and after the meeting to process your registration. They will have all the forms, access to a copy machine, and a notary on-hand should you need one.
Consider registering at the highest level most comfortable for your family; please see our webpage for more details: LHSOA Recognition Levels
Earn Money for your Orchestra Account!
Here’s a FUN opportunity to earn cash that can be applied to your Orchestra Registration fees or New York Trip account!
Orchestra parents and students (17 or older) can work as Atlanta Falcons “Suite Attendants” by placing and setting-up food/beverage orders, and then cleaning the suites at the end of the game.
Meet-up is Friday afternoon, 8/14, 1:00 PM in the Home Depot parking lot for a carpool to the Georgia Dome. The game starts at 7:00 PM; with clean-up after the game. Plan on a 12:00 AM return to Home Depot – an 11 to 12 hour commitment.
Lassiter Band families say time goes by fast and is a very fun experience, especially for parents.
Each volunteer will earn a $75 credit, which will be applied to your student’s personal orchestra account. Only 10 spots are available and the band reports that they go quickly.
