Welcome to a new school year 2016-2017!
It was wonderful to see our new and returning Orchestra families on Registration night, last Tuesday! We are also glad to have Pauline Miller on board as our Co-Treasurer. Hope you are all excited to start another great year!
A Note from our directors
Dear Lassiter Orchestra Students and Parents,
Even though it doesn’t quite ‘feel’ like summer is over, we are excited to start our 2016-2017 school year! We are happy to welcome our almost 90-member Freshman Class and at the same time celebrate our fabulous 2017 Senior Class! A big “thank you” to our LHSOA Parents and Student Officers on a very successful Orchestra Registration Day. It was wonderful meeting our new families and catching up with our current students as we begin a new year. A special “thank you” to Beau Vinci Violins for a free “Instrument Check-up” and providing needed supplies to our students. Please bring in any Lassiter Instruments you may have signed out this summer, Monday, before school. If your personal instrument has “issues”, please bring it in Monday morning so we can get it playable before class on Tuesday. Instruments mandatory in all classes on Tuesday.
Looking forward to a wonderful year of music-making!
Carol Doemel, Director of Orchestras
Koji Mori, Assistant Director of Orchestras
